Rev. Dr. Kent A. Reynolds has over 32 years of experience in ministry. For thirty years, he was a church pastor and the last two have been at Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky. During the last fourteen years of his pastoral ministry, he was the pastor of the St. James United Methodist Church in Athens, Georgia, where he and his wife, Sandy, still maintain a home. Under Kent’s leadership, the church grew in many significant ways, becoming one of the most dynamic and effective churches in the region. It was a significant missional church in the community and around the world and a remarkable place of personal healing and spiritual growth for those who attended regularly. St. James also planted a church in one of the most challenged neighborhoods in the city. This church plant has prospered and has had a significant impact on the quality of life for the whole community.

Today, Kent works with the Beeson International Center for Advanced Church Leadership at Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky. He teaches doctoral level courses in Leadership and Preaching and pours life into pastors and church leaders from all over the world. Kent’s vision is for the renewal of the church by empowering and equipping effective spiritual leaders. He is a pastor to pastors. His expertise is in cross-cultural ministry, having preached and taught in a myriad of places and situations throughout the world.
His global focus and perspective motivates his work with Kent Reynolds Ministries, Inc., a non-profit 501©(3) organization which provides training in leadership, help for churches, and many other areas of motivation, consultation, and discipleship.
